Why this policy exists
People who search for 99exch are usually trying to make a decision that involves money: whether to open an ID, how to log in safely, whether a website is genuine, or how long a withdrawal should take. Bad information in that situation costs real rupees. This page sets out the standards every guide on 99exch.in is written and checked against, so that readers can judge for themselves how much weight to give what we publish.
It also exists because the wider topic is full of pages that promise "100% safe" platforms, guaranteed winnings and official status that nobody can verify. We want readers to be able to see clearly how we work differently, and to hold us to it.
Who publishes 99exch.in, and our commercial interest
99exch.in is an independent information website and ID desk. It is not the operator of the 99exch betting exchange panel, it does not set odds or settle markets, and it does not describe itself as "official". The desk opens IDs on the panel, handles deposits and withdrawals for those IDs, and provides support over WhatsApp.
That role gives us a commercial interest, and we disclose it plainly: the desk earns a commission from the platform on the activity of the IDs it services. Readers should keep that in mind when reading anything we publish about 99exch. It is also the reason this policy places so much weight on accuracy, on stating risks clearly, and on never overstating what the platform or the desk can do.
Who writes and reviews our guides
Guides on this site are written and edited by Raja Venu, who has more than 15 years of experience reviewing the online betting and gaming industry and has received a best editor award. Each guide carries a byline naming the author and the date of the last full review.
Before a guide is published, it is checked by the team that runs the ID desk. That review is practical rather than cosmetic: the people who answer chats every day confirm that the procedures we describe (how IDs are issued, how resets work, deposit limits, typical withdrawal times) match what actually happens, and that the questions a guide answers are the ones readers really ask.
The standards every guide must meet
- People first. A guide exists to answer a reader's real question as directly and completely as possible, with the answer near the top. It is not written to fill a word count or to repeat a keyword.
- Accuracy over persuasion. We describe what is true, including the parts that do not help us commercially, such as risks, limits and the legal position.
- Clear sourcing. Facts about our own procedures come from the desk. Facts about the law, public helplines and third-party products come from published sources, which we check before stating them. Where a fact cannot be verified, we describe it in general terms or leave it out.
- No invented evidence. We do not publish testimonials, ratings, statistics, awards, licences or histories that we cannot substantiate.
- Original writing. Every guide is written for this site. We do not copy or lightly rewrite other websites' content, and we check new pages for overlap with our own existing pages so that each one has a distinct purpose.
- Plain language. Technical terms are explained the first time they appear, and a glossary is provided where a topic needs one.
Claims we never make
Some claims are common on betting-related websites but cannot be supported. We do not make them, and we treat their presence elsewhere as a warning sign.
| We never say | Why |
|---|---|
| That 99exch.in is the official 99exch website | It is not. It is an independent ID desk and information site. |
| That the platform is licensed or regulated in India | We cannot point to any such licence, and the legal position in India restricts online money games. |
| That betting is safe, risk-free or guaranteed to pay | Every bet carries a real risk of loss, and nobody can guarantee results. |
| That we offer the "best odds" or are the "number one" provider | Odds are set on the exchange, not by us, and such rankings cannot be verified. |
| That any prediction, signal or system can beat the market or the house | Results are uncertain and casino games carry a built-in house edge. |
| That online betting is simply legal in India | Since 1 May 2026 the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits online money games across India. |
How we handle legal information
The legal position on online betting in India changed when the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 and its Rules came into force on 1 May 2026. Every guide that touches on the law states that position accurately, links to the legal section on our homepage, and makes clear that we are not lawyers and do not give legal advice. When we learn of a material development, such as new rules, notifications or court decisions, the legal section is reviewed first and the guides that refer to it are updated.
Responsible play in our content
Every guide includes an age notice (18+) and points readers to our responsible gaming page. We do not encourage chasing losses, borrowing to play or treating betting as income, and we explain the maths of house edge, commission and bonus turnover so that readers understand the real cost. Where it is relevant, we include free help such as the Tele-MANAS mental health helpline (14416) and the desk's own tools: deposit caps, time-outs from 24 hours to six weeks, and self-exclusion.
Safety and scam information
Many readers reach us after encountering a fake website, an unverified app or someone posing as support. Our guides on these topics are written to protect the reader, not to promote the desk. We describe warning signs and defensive steps in general terms, we never publish instructions that would help someone commit fraud, and we point victims to the official reporting channels in India: the 1930 financial fraud helpline and cybercrime.gov.in.
How we use tools, including AI
We use software tools to help us work efficiently, including spelling and grammar checkers, analytics, and AI writing assistants that can help draft or restructure text. Tools never decide what is true. Every page is edited by the named author and checked against the desk's procedures and published sources before it goes live, and the named author is responsible for its accuracy.
Updates, review dates and corrections
Each guide shows the date of its last full review. We review guides when a fact they depend on changes, for example a deposit limit, a typical withdrawal time, a panel behaviour or a legal development, and we also revisit our most-read pages periodically even when nothing obvious has changed.
If you believe something on this site is wrong, out of date or unclear, please tell us through the channels on our contact page. Explain what you think is incorrect and, if possible, where you found the correct information. We check every report. When we correct a factual error, we update the page and its review date. We do not quietly remove criticism of the platform or of the desk from our guides.
Advertising and independence
We do not accept payment from third parties to publish reviews, rankings or recommendations, and we do not publish sponsored content presented as editorial. Links from our guides point to our own pages or to public sources that support what we say, such as official government reporting portals.
