Depositing is the easy half. Nobody messages us at midnight worried about a deposit. The messages come when someone has won, asked for their money, and then spent twenty minutes staring at a chat window. This guide covers how to withdraw money from 99exch from start to finish: what to send, how long it realistically takes, the handful of things that slow it down, and the warning signs that tell you something is wrong.
How a withdrawal works, step by step
There is no "withdraw" button that pushes money to your bank automatically. As with deposits, a person on the support desk handles it. The sequence is:
- Check your available balance. Open the panel and look at available balance, not total. Points tied up in unsettled bets (shown as exposure or liability) cannot be withdrawn until those markets settle.
- Message support on WhatsApp from the same number you used to get the ID. Write your username, the amount, and where you want it sent.
- Give payout details. A UPI ID is fastest. For larger amounts, send account number, IFSC and the account holder's name exactly as the bank has it.
- Points are deducted. Support removes the points from your ID first. Refresh the panel and you will see the balance drop.
- The transfer is sent and you receive a screenshot or UTR reference. Check your bank app, not just the screenshot.
A message that works well looks like this: "Withdrawal — username rahul882 — 3,000 — UPI rahul@okbank — name Rahul S." One line, everything needed. The most common cause of delay is a request that says only "withdraw pls" and then three rounds of questions.
How long does it take?
For an ordinary UPI withdrawal during the day, 15 to 30 minutes is typical. We are not going to promise "instant", because it is not always. Here is what changes the timing:
| Situation | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Small UPI withdrawal, daytime | Usually 15–30 minutes |
| During a big match (IPL evening, India game) | Slower. The desk is handling a queue of deposits and withdrawals at once |
| Large amount | May be sent by IMPS/NEFT or split into parts because of UPI per-transaction limits |
| Bank or UPI downtime | Out of anyone's hands. The transfer goes when the rail is back up |
| Name mismatch on the account | Held until you confirm. Send details for an account in your own name |
If an hour passes with no update on a routine request, send one polite follow-up with your username. Ten messages in a row do not move you up the queue; they bury your original request.
Why a withdrawal gets held up
Unsettled bets
You backed a team, the match finished, you can see you won — but the balance has not changed. Markets are settled after the official result, and session markets sometimes take a few extra minutes. Until settlement, the winnings are not yours to withdraw. Check the bet history: if it still shows "unmatched" or "open", wait.
Withdrawing to someone else's account
Sending winnings to a friend's or relative's UPI looks, from the other side, exactly like a compromised account being emptied. Expect questions. Save yourself the trouble and use an account in your own name from day one.
Bonus conditions
If you accepted a bonus with a turnover requirement, part of your balance may be locked until you meet it. This is the single biggest source of withdrawal arguments in the industry, which is why we suggest reading how 99exch bonuses really work before saying yes to one.
Disputed or voided markets
Abandoned matches, rain rules and obvious pricing errors can lead to bets being voided and stakes returned. If your balance is lower than you expected, open the account statement and look for the void entry before assuming money has gone missing.
Keep your own record
This takes two minutes and ends most disputes before they begin. After every deposit and withdrawal, note the date, amount and UTR number in your phone. Once a week, compare your notes with the account statement in the panel. People who do this rarely have a problem, and when they do, they can point to the exact transaction rather than saying "I think I sent something on Sunday".
Red flags worth knowing
- You are told to deposit again to "unlock" a withdrawal.
- Support suddenly moves you to a new number or a Telegram account you have never seen.
- Someone asks for your panel password or an OTP "to process the payout". A withdrawal needs neither.
- The payout screenshot arrives but the bank never shows the credit. Screenshots can be edited; your bank statement cannot.
- Withdrawal limits that were never mentioned appear only after you win.
Our review page goes through how to test a provider with a small deposit-and-withdraw cycle before trusting them with more. We recommend doing exactly that with us as well. Deposit the minimum, place nothing or very little, withdraw it, and see how you are treated.
A word on withdrawing winnings at all
Here is a habit that separates people who enjoy this from people who do not: they withdraw. When the balance climbs well above what they put in, they take the original deposit back out and play on with the rest. It sounds obvious. Almost nobody does it. A balance sitting in a panel feels like points in a game, and points get spent. Money in your bank account feels like money. Our bankroll guide has more on setting this up as a rule rather than a mood.
Also bear in mind that winnings from betting can be taxable in India. We cannot give tax advice; if the amounts are meaningful, speak to a chartered accountant.
